A Welcome from the University Chaplaincy
I welcome you to Daystar University on behalf of the Chaplaincy Department. The Chaplaincy is responsible for the spiritual nurture programs of the University. Spiritual nurture programs include:
- Weekly Chapel Services.
- Small Group Weekly Bible Study.
- University Prayer Day held once every semester; and
- Daystar Christian Fellowship (DCF) – a Student-led Ministry.
Chapel Service
The weekly Chapel service is very central to the life of Daystar University. It takes place every Tuesday on both campuses for full-time students.
DVC – Academic, Research & Student Affairs Division
At Daystar University, we equip students holistically to ensure they are well prepared intellectually, socially and spiritually.
Our curriculum is designed in such a way that students enroll for General Education courses besides one’s area of specialization. General Education courses comprise courses in Bible, Literature, Communication, Physical Education, and Sciences. Our educational philosophy is based on the persuasion that biblical truth is the foundation of all knowledge. Therefore, you will find that prayer and devotion are natural part of classroom activities besides the structured spiritual nurture programs run by the Chaplaincy.
