We consider it a privilege to welcome you, First Year students joining us at Daystar University. As your Vice Chancellor, I want to assure you that you have chosen to be in the first Christ-centred University in East Africa.
Welcome by the DVC - Finance, Administration and Planning
I am delighted to welcome you to Daystar University.
The Finance, Administration and Planning Division is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency in the delivery of essential services in support the student’s academic journey.
The services we provide include Accommodation, Cafeteria, Medical Insurance, Transport, ICT, Security and Financial Services in Fees payment among others. For students planning to board at our residential Athi River Campus, we have two Types of Hostels:
Hostel Accommodation Options
- Full-Board: Students are provided three meals a day.
- Self-Catering: Students are provided with a common cooking area with gas and water.
Other students can get their meals in the cafeteria on a pay-as-you-eat basis. Also note that Transport is provided for commuter students studying at the Athi River Campus.
