The Programme equips students with scientific and practical knowledge to identify, assess and manage environmental factors that affect human health and the quality of life. It provides an interdisciplinary foundation drawing from environmental science, biology, chemistry, public health and related fields, with emphasis on preventing and controlling environmental health risks. Students develop the skills to assess environmental conditions, design and implement health and safety interventions, and contribute to programmes that promote healthy communities and sustainable environments. The Programme also prepares learners to respond to emerging environmental health challenges and to promote responsible stewardship of the environment through ethical and professional practice.

A Mean Grade of C+ (plus) and above in KCSE, or at least 4 credits in IGCSE with at least 2 credits passes at ‘A’ level/GCE and C Plain in C+ in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics & English/Kiswahili.

All prospective students who completed their high school education outside Kenya, except those holding IGCSE or GCE certificates, are required to have their qualifications aligned by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) before admission.
