About This Programme

The Programme provides comprehensive theological and pastoral training for students preparing to serve the Church and wider society in the contemporary African context. It equips learners with knowledge in Biblical and theological studies alongside practical ministry skills, enabling them to engage thoughtfully with changing social, cultural and religious realities affecting the Church. The Programme combines academic study with practical ministry experience and a broad liberal arts foundation, developing students’ abilities in theological reflection, pastoral practice, critical thinking and Christian leadership. It prepares graduates for pastoral and church-related ministry, chaplaincy, counselling, youth ministry, theological scholarship and further theological education.

Entry Requirements

A KCSE mean Grade of C+ (plus) or at least 4 credits in IGCSE with at least 2 credit passes in 'A' Level/GCE.

All prospective students who completed their high school education outside Kenya, except those holding IGCSE or GCE certificates, are required to have their qualifications aligned by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) before admission.
