Athi River Main Campus
Daystar University, main campus is situated in Athi River, 40 kilometers from Nairobi CBD. It sits on prime land surrounded by beautiful landscapes and stunning views allowing you to appreciate the alluring scenery.
The university has various facilities including modern, spacious and comfortable classes, science and computer laboratories, a well-stocked library, media studios, restaurants, a medical center and more.
The university prides itself on excellence and participation thus offers extra-curricular activities like sports; basketball, volleyball, rugby, chess and badminton, clubs including AIESEC, Daystar Mazingira, Afrizo, DCF and Rotaract Club.
Accommodation
The Athi River campus also offers areas to sit, relax, chat or read a book as you take in the sites and scenes around. For students boarding on-campus, we have two types of hostels:
- Full-Board Hostels where students are provided three meals a day in a common Dining Hall. These include Imani (Men), Grace (Ladies), Patience (Ladies) and Bethel (Men).
- Self-Catering Hostel Units (SCHU) where students are provided a common kitchen supplied with cooking gas, water, electricity and storage cabinets. These include DUPA (Women), Bethel Block 5 (Men), and SCHU (Men/Women).
City Campus
Nairobi Campus
Daystar University Nairobi Campus is conveniently located at the junction of Valley Road and Ngong Road about four kilometers from the City Centre.
It is well served by public transport to and from all parts of Nairobi. The Campus is opposite Nairobi Hospital and next to Nairobi Baptist Church. On this campus the University offers Doctoral Programmes, Master’s, Undergraduate Day and Evening Programmes, Diploma, Certificate and Short Courses.
Facilities
Nairobi Campus has the following facilities: Two Cafeterias, an Outpatient Clinic, Nuru Counselling Centre, Centre for Medical Law and Ethics, Research, Publications and Post-Graduate Bureau, Moot Court for Law Students, Nursing Skills Lab for Nursing Students, Computer Labs for all students, TV and Audio Studios for all Communication Students, and a Library.
We have an Auditorium with a sitting capacity of 400. This is where we hold our Chapel services and the facility is open to host external events.
We have partnered with Public Service Club for Sports recreation. We provide ample parking with additional space at Nairobi Baptist Church.

Please note that the Nairobi Campus is a non-residential Campus. For further guidance, your respective school will be able to guide you.

Conference Facilities on Hire
Located at the Upper Hill business district of Nairobi, our modern conference rooms are designed to host different types of meetings.
We can customize the layout of the space to suit your events. While our superior sound insulation and magic glass ensure privacy, our high-speed Wi-Fi, audiovisual technology and on-site supporting team are here to ensure your meetings are running smoothly.
In addition, we provide ample parking space, dedicated security and cleaning personnel to manage your space during your stay with us.
