Community where you are
Find or form an alumni chapter
Chapters make a global association feel local. Registered members may organise around a graduating class, region or province, country, profession or another shared interest, with registration coordinated through the Alumni Secretariat.
Class chapters
Reconnect graduates who shared the same Daystar years and create a practical structure for reunions, welfare, mentoring and collective support.
Regional chapters
Bring together alumni living or working in the same county, province or region for networking, outreach and engagement close to home.
Country chapters
Sustain Daystar community among graduates outside Kenya and connect international alumni with one another and with the University.
Interest groups
Organise around a profession, ministry, cause or shared area of expertise to exchange knowledge and create opportunities for service.
What chapters do
- Keep accurate membership records and maintain regular communication with members and the Alumni Office.
- Create networking, professional development, fellowship and welfare opportunities for alumni.
- Welcome graduates into active membership and help them remain connected with Daystar University.
- Support mentoring, student development, outreach and appropriate University advancement priorities.
- Represent the values and reputation of Daystar through responsible, Christ-centred service.
Support from the Alumni Office
The Alumni Office helps recognised chapters with registration, communication, institutional coordination and engagement. Contact the Secretariat before forming or relaunching a chapter so the group can be properly connected to DUAA.
