Programme Details

The Programme provides a strong foundation in biomedical sciences and prepares students to apply scientific knowledge and laboratory skills to health and medical research. It develops students’ understanding of biological processes, disease mechanisms and biomedical techniques, while equipping them with the research, analytical and technical skills required to investigate health-related challenges and contribute to advances in biomedical science. The Programme adopts a multidisciplinary approach to contemporary biomedical research and provides a foundation for further specialisation and postgraduate study. Guided by Christian values, it also emphasises ethical and responsible scientific practice in biomedical research and related professional settings.

A Mean Grade of C+ (plus) and above in KCSE, or at least 4 credits in IGCSE with at least 2 credits passes at ‘A’ level/GCE and C+ in Biology & Mathematics/Physics/Computer Studies.

All prospective students who completed their high school education outside Kenya, except those holding IGCSE or GCE certificates, are required to have their qualifications aligned by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) before admission.
